Keynote Safety
The following is an example of a Safety Presentation that Anton gave recently at a major mine site.
Product: Safety Presentation.
Title: 'Improvements by the Day'.
Duration: 1 hour (or as required) including question time.
"During the past year your company has significantly improved its injury frequency rates. These improvements must not only be communicated to site teams, but the site teams must be congratulated on their efforts.
This presentation focuses on the four stages that an organisation travels through on the journey of cultural and safety improvement, those being from natural instincts to management and procedures to self engagement and finally to team working. These stages are depicted on the ‘Bradley Curve”, which clearly examines each of the four stages".
Anton Guinea’s journey along the Bradley Curve is also used to depict how workers move from using safety systems because the ‘have to’, to using safety systems because they can see the benefits from, and the intent of the systems. It also focuses on the mindset and the behaviors of safe employees (they believe, notice and engage).
This presentation is very interactive, and all employees are given the opportunity to clearly describe what they feel have been some of the main reasons for the improvements in the injury frequency rates.
This presentation includes the impact that Anton Guinea’s incident had on his life, and how his experience is relevant to the situation within your company.
